This exhibition is a partnership between Black Creatives RVA and the Library of Virginia, opening February 21 as part of the Culturescape Saturday series.

Important Guidelines & Deadlines

Work Drop-Off

  • When: Monday, February 16th thru Thursday, February 19th. Email sarah.falls@lva.virginia.gov and indicate a time for drop off.

  • Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • Where: Library of Virginia main floor

  • Instructions: Park in the Library of Virginia's garage and bring your work up to the main floor. More parking information here: https://www.lva.virginia.gov/use/plan. Ask for Sarah Falls at the information desk.

Work Storage

The Library of Virginia will place all works in a secure holding space on the first floor so they are ready for installation on Friday afternoon.

Hanging Requirement ⚠️

All participants are required to use a hanging wire as the hanging mechanism. This speeds up the hanging process and ensures your artwork is securely mounted to the wall.

Extended Exhibition

After the Pop-Up Exhibition on February 21st, all works will transition to the second-floor library and remain on display until April 10th.
